Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly made large purchases using a stolen credit card.

The card was stolen from a resident in Newtown and used it to buy items and spending more than $5,000, Newtown Police said.

The card was used Best Buy, the Apple Store, and Starbucks, all in Danbury, police said.

The male is described as being Hispanic, and 50 to 60 years old.
